Application: This M42 to RMS adapter ring transfers microscope objective RMS thread(Olympus microscope objective lens and some domestic microscope objective lens are RMS thread) into M42 interface. For Leica or Nikon microscope objectives, its objective thread is M25X0.75mm, it is not suitable for M42 to RMS adapter ring. So before you buy, please confirm which objective you are. And then with the M42 to SLR interface(you have to buy this adapter seperately), you can take photos by microscope objective.

Warm Tips:
1.It can not auto focus, the objective itself is equivalent to a manual lens without aperture, you need to use the M position.
2.The skin cavity can be used, the maximum distance of the microscope objective is 160mm, when you use the skin cavity + SLR interface, the distance must be less than 160mm.
3.After connecting the SLR and moving the camera to focus manually, it is best to have a macro frame to move the shelf to focus.
4.The circle around the objective lens will be a bit faint.
5.Regarding whether the objective lens can be infinitely focused? The microscope objective is focused only at a specific distance. 4X is about 1-1.5cm, 10X,20X are a few millimeters. So the objective lens can not be infinitely focused.
6.It is a time-consuming for microscopic photography with a microscope objective. The biggest advantage is the smaller field of vision and cheap cost equipment.
