Features: All camera lenses are threaded. There are two industrial standards for installing CCD camera lens, those are C mount and CS mount. The mount thread portions are the same, but the two mounts distance which is from lens to the photosensitive surface is different. C mount: the distance from the lens mount datum to the focus is 17.526mm. CS mount: it is a special C installation. the distance from the lens mount datum to the focus is 12.5mm. You need to remove the pad ring and then install lens. If you need to install a C mount lens to a CS mount lens, then you will need this lens converter/adapter.
